On April 9, N.C. Cooperative Extension, Perquimans County Center will teach a lesson called SWEETS… from the recent Med Instead of Meds Curriculum. Variety and moderation are two key terms that are components in eating healthy. Family and Consumer Science Educator Jewel Winslow, along with Extension Master Food volunteers will demonstrate recipes that can satisfy the appetite and compliment your menu planning decisions. This event will be held at 6 p.m. in the kitchen of the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Perquimans County Center, 601A South Edenton Road Street, Hertford, NC.
