by Joy Caron, Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Some things to do this month include: Fertilize: When using herbicides or fertilizers, read and follow labels carefully. Tall Fescue should not be fertilized after March. Centipedegrass should not have nitrogen applied at this time. Yellow appearance may indicate an iron deficiency. Iron sulfate or a chelated iron source can be used. Zoysiagrass and Bermudagrass can have ½ pound of nitrogen per 1,000 sq.ft. applied several weeks after lawn fully turns green. New trees ... MORE
